Shifting Sands contributor Susan Greene was on of four Jewish American women artists who formed Break the Silence Mural Project in 1989. BTS' latest project is the "Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural Project," an inter-disciplinary, interactive, multi-site public art project that will make use of new media and social networking technologies to increase the strength and visibility of movements organizing for social change in Palestine, Israel, the USA and the world.
